Long Term Care

Long stay residents at Adbolton Hall - those who require temporary or indefinite stays at our care home - will receive 24 hour care and high levels of supervision. Long term care is generally for those who need daily nursing, perhaps due to age or an on-going medical condition. This includes medical and non-medical care to meet the health and personal requirements of our long-term residents. We have specialist long-term carers who can help residents with daily activities that may be struggled with such as dressing and bathing.

Day Care

People opting for a day care service will receive all the attention and care of long term residents but are not obliged to stay at Adbolton Hall overnight. Throughout the day, Adbolton will cater to each individual's needs with our ongoing activities programme. After an assessment to start with, a programme of activities can be devised to cater for the requirements, preferences and abilities of the individual.

Respite Care

Caring for an elderly person can be very demanding on our time and health, so it is important to have some respite from the routine that you may have gotten into. Our respite care service is designed to give carers of elderly individuals a break from the commitments that their caring role demands. Allow us to share some of the responsibility so that you can have some free time, and so that the person you are caring for can benefit from a change of scenery and new people to interact with.

In most cases someone comes to the home and sits or cares for the person who requires care. Or if he/she is mobile, then coming to visit Adbolton Hall once or twice a week will provide the carer with much needed respite.

Dementia Care

Common mental problems experienced by older people are dementia-related conditions, such as Alzheimer's Disease. Our specialist units offer nursing or residential care with experienced staff and facilities that can deal with different levels of dementia. Adbolton Hall have medically trained specialists to ensure the correct treatment is received. We ensure that our residents are carefully looked after so that they and their families can have peace of mind.
